BOIL NOTICE LIFTED for Coos River Hwy from 16th Ave to Lillian Slough

UPDATE: BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED FOR COOS RIVER HWY FROM 16th AVE TO LILLIAN SLOUGH

This Boil Order has been lifted as of 12:00pm, Saturday, August 2, 2025. 

All water to be used for consumption, such as drinking and cooking, should first be boiled to kill any microbiological organisms. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute, then cooled before consumption. Please be aware that this Boil Order is limited to these specified areas.

Customers on the following streets are still affected: Coos River Hwy from 16th Ave to Lillian Slough Ln

Customers on the following streets are no longer affected: 16th Ave, Cedar Dr, Bayview Dr, and Applewood Dr

We are issuing a precautionary Boil Order for water services for the listed areas in Coos Bay. This Boil Order will be in effect for 48 hours ending Thursday, July 31st at 12:00 PM. Any affected customers being issued the boil notice have been notified with a door hanger. If circumstances occur where the boil order needs to be extended, Water Board officials will reissue the notices prior to the expiration date of the original boil notice.

THE BOIL WATER NOTICE THAT WAS ISSUED ON THE LISTED AREAS ABOVE IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT AND HAS BEEN LIFTED AS OF 11:30AM, THURSDAY, JULY31, 2025
