The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board experienced a severe water main break this morning in the Bay Park/Millington area. As a precautionary measure, those areas that could have experienced total loss of water pressure are being issued a boil water notice for 48 hours ending Tuesday, June 15th at 10 A.M. If circumstances occur where the boil order needs to be extended, Water Board officials will reissue the notice prior to the expiration date of the original boil notice.
Customers that are being issued the notice will be notified with a door hanger before 4 PM on Sunday, June 13th. If you have any questions or concerns about the water break or boil order, please contact the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board at (541) 267-3128 and someone will help you.
Customers on the following streets are affected: All of the Bay Park/Bunker Hill area South of Highway 101 from Flanagan Road East to Highway 101.
