SUBJECT: Ocean Boulevard Water Main Replacement Project
The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board is continuing work on a water main replacement project on Ocean Boulevard between the Water Board’s driveway entrance and Woodland Drive. The work is being performed by the Water Board’s contractor, Laskey-Clifton Corporation.
The remaining work consists of asphalt paving only. One west-bound lane of Ocean Boulevard will be closed during the June 6 – 7 weekend. The remaining work will also require night time work on two separate dates: beginning Sunday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. and finish by 7:00 a.m. the following morning, and beginning Monday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. and finish by 7:00 a.m. the following morning.
Continuous traffic flow will be maintained; however, motorists are asked to reduce speeds and use caution through the construction area. Alternatively, motorists are encouraged to use other routes when practical.
All work on the project is anticipated to be complete by Friday, June 12.
