The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board will begin construction of a new water main on Isabelle Avenue, Simpson Avenue and Park Avenue in North Bend during the week of January 11, 2016. The anticipated completion date for the project is January 29, 2016.
For safety reasons Park Avenue between Ferry Road and Simpson Avenue will be closed periodically during the project as crews cut the pavement and install the new water main across the intersection of Park Avenue and Simpson Avenue. The Water Board requests that citizens use alternate routes to access Simpson Heights during this project to promote safety and avoid travel delays.
