The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board hereby issues public notice, pursuant to ORS 223.304, of its intent to modify and update its System Development Charge methodology.
A technical report addressing the methodology and calculation of the proposed charges will be available for review after September 4, 2026, at the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board office, 2305 Ocean Boulevard, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420, or by calling 541-267-3128.
System Development Charges adjustments for new water services are expected to increase by a minimum of 3% and no more than the Western Cities B/C CPI annually.
A public hearing to make comments regarding the proposed modifications to the System Development Charge is scheduled for 7:00 am, Thursday, November 5, 2026 at the Water Board office. If you wish to comment but cannot attend the public hearing, please address written comments as follows:
